Introduction
The Step Up Programme offers students who have not met our entry requirements and aspire to go onto a Level 3, a second chance at level 2 with more emphasis on developing skills, organising activities, personal support and gaining a solid set of GCSES. The programme is initially one year with the option to go onto AS/A level for a further two years. The first year of the programme will lead onto a range of different possible outcomes.

This is a full-time programme with a range of optional and compulsory elements. Your 'Step Up' year can include various GCSE and possibly a limited choice of AS level subjects. ASDAN awards will also include enrichment activities, support sessions and developing your very own learning plan. Throughout your time at King Edward VI College and as part of the 'Step Up' programme you will be given full support, advice and guidance from highly experienced and motivated staff, including a specialised tutorial programme.
